Sports Desk, New Delhi: England won the four-match T20 series 2-0. In the final T20 international match, England defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. This victory will boost England's morale ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan's captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan gave a strong start, adding 59 runs for the first wicket. Babar scored 36 runs off 22 balls, while Rizwan made 23 runs off 16 balls. Usman Khan contributed 38 runs.
Four Batsmen Fail to Score
Apart from these three, experienced batsman Iftikhar Ahmed scored 21 runs and bowler Naseem added 16 runs. Six Pakistani batsmen failed to reach double digits, with four of them not even opening their accounts. Pakistan was bowled out for 157 runs in 19.5 overs. For England, Wood, Rashid, and Livingstone each took two wickets.

Buttler and Salt's Strong Batting
In response to Pakistan's 158 runs, England's captain Jos Buttler and Phil Salt continued their IPL form with aggressive batting. The duo shared an 82-run partnership in 6.2 overs. Phil Salt scored 45 runs off 24 balls, and Buttler made 39 runs off 21 balls. Will Jacks added 20 runs.
Haris Rauf Takes Three Wickets
Jonny Bairstow and Harry Brook led the team to a seven-wicket victory. Bairstow remained unbeaten with 28 runs, while Brook scored 17 not out. England chased down the target in 15.3 overs, scoring 158 runs. Haris Rauf was the only successful bowler for Pakistan, taking 3 wickets for 38 runs in 3.3 overs.
