Development and Filming

The development of "Pushpa 2" began before the release of the first film. Initially, 10% of the sequel's footage was shot simultaneously with "Pushpa: The Rise." However, Sukumar decided to alter the script to better meet audience expectations. Principal photography officially began in October 2022 in Hyderabad, with subsequent filming locations including Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Malkangiri district in Odisha, and Ramoji Film City. Despite some setbacks and delays, including a bus accident involving crew members and health issues of lead actor Allu Arjun, filming continued into 2024.

Post-production

The film's editing was managed by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben, with Ruben later replaced by Naveen Nooli due to scheduling conflicts. Visual effects were handled by Makuta VFX under the supervision of RC Kamalakannan. Resul Pookutty and Vijay Kumar served as sound designers, and Shreyas Talpade dubbed Allu Arjun's voice for the Hindi version.

Music

Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's music, with Telugu lyrics by Chandrabose. The music rights were acquired by T-Series, and the first single, "Pushpa Pushpa," was released on 1 May 2024, followed by the second single, "Sooseki," scheduled for release on 29 May 2024.

"Pushpa 2: The Rule" is highly anticipated due to the success of its predecessor and promises to       deliver a high-octane cinematic experience with its star-studded cast, substantial budget, and robust   production  values.
